President of Atlantic Financial Advisory Partners, Philadelphia. With 35 years of experience in business consulting and financial advisory, including Global Head of Kroll’s Financial Advisory Services and chief executive of multiple businesses across a variety of industries. His experience also includes complex multi-party negotiations in M&A and restructuring situations. He has served as a Director of dozens of companies, including as Chairman or with primary responsibility for corporate governance including as Chair of Audit and Finance Committees. Certified Public Accountant, KPMG and Arthur Andersen. Degree in Business and Economics, West Chester University. Adjunct profesor.

With over 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry, Antonio has a widely recognized business, financial and technical background. He holds a degree from ICADE and a degree in Advanced Strategic Management from the IMD Business School in Lausanne. He began his career at Aegon in 1993 and joined CaixaBank’s insurance group in 1998. He was VidaCaixa’s CEO from 2013 to 2017. He was also Chairman of the Life and Pensions Group at UNESPA (Spanish Insurers Association) and a member of INVERCO (Spanish Collective Investments Association), as well as a Board member of the Swiss Life Network. Con más de 20 años de experiencia en el sector de seguros, Antonio Trueba tiene una reconocida experiencia de negocio, financiera y técnica. Con título universitario en ICADE y Advanced Strategic Management de la IMD (Lausanne). Comenzó su carrera en Aegon en 1993 y se unió al grupo asegurador de CaixaBank en 1998. Fue Director General de VidaCaixa desde 2013 a 2017. Ha sido presidente de la Agrupación de Vida y Pensiones de UNESPA, miembro de la Comisión Permanente de Inverco y consejero del Swiss Life Network.

Experience in top positions in the insurance and financial industries, as well as in the public sector. He graduated as a Trade Expert and State Economist. Eduardo was the head of the Spanish insurance regulator (Dirección General de Seguros y Fondos de Pensiones), Managing Director of BNP Paribas, CFO of CNE (the National Energy Commision) and was head of foreign debt in the Spanish Treasury. He has sat on the boards of ICO, CESCE, Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros, Omiclear and OMEL, and he is currently an external advisor to various Spanish and foreign financial institutions.

Murray is a partner at Nazare Capital and has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services sector. Murray was formerly Global Head of Insurance Solutions at Japanese bank Nomura, where he was responsible for making principal investments in life insurance-related opportunities globally. As part of this role, Murray set up Nomura Re to allow Nomura to participate in reinsurance transactions with insurance clients. Prior to that, Murray was European Head of Insurance Solutions at Lehman Brothers in London, where he focused on European clients, and prior to that he was at Barclays Capital. Murray’s early career in finance was in providing M&A and capital management advisory services to European insurance companies.

He has been responsible partner in Deloitte Spain for the insurance sector between 2004 and 2022, assuming also the sector responsibility at European level in his last four years at Deloitte, where he has developed his entire professional career for 32 years, always linked to the insurance and financial sectors. He has been responsible for auditing the annual accounts of some of the main Spanish financial and insurance groups and has actively participated in the restructuring processes of the Spanish financial sector, including the reorganization of its bancassurance agreements. With a degree in Economics and Insurance Actuary from the University of Barcelona, he is a member of the Official Register of Statutory Auditors and the Association of Actuaries of Catalonia, having participated in executive and management development programs at IMD (Lausanne) and St. Charles (Illinois).

Santiago is Managing Partner at Nazare Capital, which invests in life-insurance companies and life-insurance portfolios. He has more than 20 years’ experience in advisory and management of alternative investments in Europe, and significant experience in the insurance run-off space. Santiago was also a founding shareholder of Catalina Holdings, one of the leading players in the consolidation of global run-off companies in general insurance. With extensive experience in the management of M&A transactions in the insurance sector, he was head of Nomura Investment Adviser and Co-Head of Ember Capital. Prior to that, Santiago worked at AIG-MezzVes, Bankers Trust and BT Capital.

Marc is an Associate Portfolio Manager at Elliott Advisors (UK), where he works on the firm’s multi-strategy investment and other activities focused mainly on the insurance sector.

Prior to joining Elliott, Marc was a principal in the Financial Services Private Equity team at Centerbridge Partners between 2015 and 2021, and worked in Financial Institutions Investment Banking and Structuring at Goldman Sachs between 2010 and 2015. He previously served on the board of directors of Phoenix Insurance Company (Israel).

Marc has a Masters in Financial Economics from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.

Experienced executive and board member with more than 25 years experience in the insurance, banking and asset management industries in Europe and Latin America. Ignacio is currently the Regional Manager for Iberia in wealth-tech firm Allfunds Bank.

Formerly, he was the CEO of Aviva Italy and board member of the Aviva group companies in Italy, after having been CEO of Aviva Spain and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Aviva group companies in Spain. He as also held other board positions in Aviva in Spain, Poland and Turkey. He having previously held the position of CEO of Santander Asset Management UK, and was also board member and Audit Committee chairman of Spanish reinsurer Nacional de Reaseguros, until 2022.

He has been ExCo member of UNESPA, the Spanish insurance industry association, and member of the advisory board of the Chairman of the CEOE, the Spanish Confederation of Employers’ Organizations.

Ignacio has a degree in Marketing and a Masters degree in Financial Administration in ESIC and completed the leading CEO program in Digital Business in ISDI.

Member of the Madrid and New York Bar. He has worked during almost 20 years in Clifford Chance where he has been Counsel of the corporate department and head of its insurance and pensions group in Spain. Previously, he has worked in the legal department of the European Central Bank in Frankfurt and in the corporate department of Freshfields in Madrid and London. Broad experience in M&A (having worked in some of the most relevant transactions in the Spanish insurance sector) and corporate and comercial law. He also held the role of Secretary and Vice-Secretary of the Board of Directors of several companies. The Chambers and Legal 500 legal directories have described him as one of the best lawyers in the insurance sector in Spain. Law degree from University of Salamanca. LL.M. from Harvad Law School (on a grant from La Caixa Foundation) and Diplôme d’Études Européennes Approfondies from the College of Europe (on a grant from the Spanish Foreing Afffairs Ministry). Professor at ICADE and other academic institutions.
